Food made of code
How can be a slice of pizza made out of some letters and numbers? Are we living in Matrix? I can’t answer the second question but I am sure about the first that today, with blockchain technology, you can enjoy your meal even from your phone.
Firstly let’s say what the blockchain is: the blockchain is a code that stays on the Internet and is divided into many pieces that are connected like many blocks are connected through chains; this gives to the users much more freedom because this structure helps to reduce power centralization done by the biggest companies like Google and Meta.
At Food Shoot Club we decided to create on OpenSea a collection of food photos connected to a Non-Fungible Token (NFT) and sell them on the blockchain because we thought that we could add that extra value to the NFT market that nobody had already put in. Our photos aren’t just jpegs connected to a piece of code: we created OPPORTUNITIES and STORIES connected to a piece of code.
To give that extra value to our items we searched a story for every dish: from the most complex to the easiest one, and we also defined them through different traits such as taste, country of origin, and if it is vegan or vegetarian.
Then we create opportunities that everyone that enters our club can exploit:
Since the project was born in Italy, where tourism is one of the strongest markets, we decided to create auctions and giveaways where our users will be able to win unique journeys, hotel stays, and other exciting experiences.
Talking the developing team is now made of two students living and studying in Florence: we are passionate about photography, coding and, by living in Italy, we cannot be not passionate also about food and cuisine. We put together all our strength and passions to make a difference in a market that is skyrocketing way too fast and is filled with scammers and people that have no clue of what they are doing. We want to make the difference by creating content that is unique and has that extra value for the investor and we want to expand our market, with all the experiences that we offer, beyond to who already know something about NFT but also to those who just wants to try a new and fun way to travel around the world.
Besides our real-world experiences we also created our method to make club members earn and gain their financial freedom: in our roadmap that you can find on Discord, there is the point where we will start giving back to the members a percentage of our earnings and we will also organize Ethereum Air Drops for who follow us from the beginning. We also created a whitelist made by those who sponsor us: the members will be able to buy our pieces at very discounted prices so that they can resell and earn immediately.
